A visionary young leader, with a Ph.D in geotechnical engineering on wind turbines foundations, a master degree on tailings storage facilities, both from the prestigious Western University, Canada , and a bachelor degree in civil engineering from Qassim University, Saudi Arabia. Standing on over 12 years of experience on projects related to geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, Dr. Yazeed makes knowledge based decisions on day-to-day business issues on tailings and the mining industry in Saudi Arabia as the director of mining closure and rehabilitation at the Saudi Mining Services Company (ESNAD), overseeing geohazards and auditing compliance of over 2300 licenses, playing a pivotal role as a highly influential leader within ESNAD and shaping future policies of the mining industry, building a sustainable mining practices to align with Vision 2030 of the kingdom. Dr. Yazeed aspirations and ambitious endeavors stem from deep rooted urge for a tangible change on SDG issues in Saudi and aboard, encouraging and educating younger generations to embrace change, change that is best of our planet earth. Dr. Yazeed manages a startup consulting business registered in the Federal Government of Canada specializing in Geotechnical Engineering. I am passionate about my work and aim to benefit my customers and the broad geotechnical community with my specialist consultations and research.

I lead research grant projects within QU and supervise students for master degree to overcome their research issues, I direct and oversee their progress beside teaching undergraduate courses. Courses I teach include CE363 (Foundation Engineering), Senior Design Project I and II, CE 285 (Introduction to Geotechnical Engineering), Math 106 and Statics.
I conducted a number of experiments on novel foundation option for offshore wind turbine as part of my thesis at Western University, London ON, Canada
